Guided Birdwatching Walks
Friends of MBS organises regular Birdwatching Walks for the community along the MBS boundaries, led by people well-versed in birds of the area. Keep an eye on the events schedule above to see when the next walk is taking place, or contact us if you’d like to enquire about organising a group tour.

Join Friends of Melville Bird Sanctuary and WA Seabird Rescue to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day. The 2025 World Campaign focuses on Shared Spaces: Creating Bird Friendly Cities & Communities, encouraging us to create and repair environments where both people and migratory birds can thrive.
Following is a brief programme of events:
